My husband and I went to Kauai, Hawaii for our 15th Wedding Anniversary. We stayed at the St. Regis in Princeville.
Ate amazing omelets in the mornings as we looked over the ocean and the morning Rainbows....
Hiked Waimea Canyon....
Played at Ke'e Beach...
We visited the lighthouse on the north side
The Na Pali coast from our helicopter ride with Sunshine helicopters...... You have to hike 11 miles to get to that beach. You also have to have a permit to do this hike past the 2nd mile. You must get a camping permit as well because this is a full day hike to get there. Pretty cool eh?!

Na Pali Coast... in case you are wondering.... Pali means cliff. Na make it plural....so....Na Pali - The cliffs!
So pretty
Coast line Kauai
Roosters run wild all over Kauai like squirrels do here. It's so cool.
Monk Seals are protected here. So if they decide to come chill on your beach.... they put a roped off area around them so nobody will bother them. One of the locals told me that the seals take a long time to digest food. This makes them lethargic and that 's why they will lay on the beach for a long time. If people bother them and scare them into the water, they move very slowly which make them very good prey for the sharks. =( This guy was on Ke'e Beach when we got there. I used my long lens to get this shot.
